What I've been doing: Obviously I've been doing homework. Besides that, I've just been hanging out. Reading, listening to music, chilling. I'm doing publicity with drama club.
What I'm excited about: Summer! Also, me and my friend Noah are going to start a YouTube page where we sing covers of songs. At least we want to. So once we get this started, I'll be sure to post the link for y'all to watch. :) I'm also excited about upcoming auditions. I might be able to audition for Little Shop of Horrors in a nearby town, and I'm thinking of auditioning for the Muny.
What I'm sad/worried about: Well, I'm sad about not making Jesus Christ Superstar, but I'm getting over that. I'm worried about my research paper; ugh.
Latest reads: Harry Potter!!!
Latest movie: He's Just Not That Into You, 7 Pounds, Bride Wars. All three of those were excellent movies.
Most played songs on my iPod: Eric Hutchinson!, Mayday Parade, Love Story and You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift, and White Houses by Vanessa Carlton.
Shower song: White Houses, Suddenly Seymour, The Winner Takes It All, Love Story, etc. etc.

Whoops
Wow. Sorry about that.
Anyway, not much has been going on.
We've had a ton of snow days. This week was the first full week we've had all semester.
I'm working publicity for Jesus Christ Superstar at my school, and it's really fun! So far we've just organized t-shirt orders and stuff like that. I like it a lot. I might work set sometimes too.
School is going well. All my grades are good right now. We're doing a research paper in english, which, of course, is torture. I'm doing mine on animal testing for medial purposes. I support it. But anyway, I don't want to talk about school.
Besides that I've been going to movies, sledding (once, it was fun), had girls' nights in. Last night I went to Steak 'n Shake with a couple girlfriends. Tonight I'm seeing He's Just Not That Into You.
I'm in the middle of filling out my C.I.T. applications for camp. I'm going at the beginning of June. It's going to be so much fun.
Uhm, that's it. I don't know why I wasn't posting, but it probably won't happen again (for awhile).

Surprise, surprise!
Well, it's happened. School has been cancelled today because it's simply too cold to go! We found out about an hour after school ended yesterday; I was still there! There's a big possibility of it being cancelled tomorrow too. Since we have Monday off for MLK Jr. day, that would mean a 5-day weekend! I am beyond excited.
So, there's basically only two big things that have happened since I last posted. One of them, which some of you might have already been aware of, was that last Friday I was thrown a surprise birthday party! It was the best feeling in the world, coming down to my basement and seeing all of my friends there for me. But that wasn't even the best part. One of my very best friends, Helana, moved away right after school ended before the holidays. She had just moved here this summer and is now back, in Chicago. Well, the two girls who organized this party, Kara and Paige, managed to get her on a train down here to come to the party! After everyone had yelled "surprise" and whatnot, they told me there was a present behind door number one. She had been hiding in my storage room (she surprised everyone else too) and jumped out. I couldn't stop crying, I was so happy. After the guys left, the party became a sleepover. It was more fun that I could have ever imagined. The worst part, however, was taking Helana back to the train station on Saturday. But, I love her, and I'm so happy she came down. She gave up visiting at other times when she could probably have stayed longer just to be at my surprise party. It was the best gift ever. :)
Besides that, I had auditions for Jesus Christ Superstar yesterday. Not much to say. I'm extremely nervous. I think I did okay, but who knows. I'll be extremely upset if I don't make it, but I won't show it. I just hope I do.
So now, all I have to do is enjoy this mini-break. Last night I even went to the movies! I saw Bride Wars with my usual group of girlfriends. Who knows what I'll be doing today?

Monthly Update
What I've been doing: Reading, jamming to music, that kind of thing. Basically just relaxing!
What I'm excited about: I'm excited to hopefully make the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar! I also feel like 2009 is going to be an amazing year, so I'm excited to see what it brings. And honestly, I've been thinking about camp a lot, and I'm excited to be a c.i.t. this Summer. It's far off, but I'm excited for it.
What I'm sad/worried about: Well, I'm worried about auditioning for Jesus Christ Superstar. Stage fright is nothing; auditioning is the hard part. You want to do so well, and you know you can, but you always mess up. I hope I make it. I'm also kind of sad to be going back to school, but it's sort of nice at the same time.
Latest reads: Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse-- again! That Summer, Just Listen, and This Lullaby, all by Sarah Dessen. Wicked Lovely. I'm also rereading the Harry Potter books, and I've gotten through the first two. I have a bunch of other books I need to read once I'm done with that.
Latest movie: Twilight, of course! I've seen it five times now.
Most played songs on my iPod: Mamma Mia!
Shower song: No Matter What from Beauty and the Beast.

First post of 2009!
Now that school's back on, we seem to have gotten back to the usual-- today was an ice day! I was excited beyond words when my mom woke me up this morning to tell me. I did some reading, because I'm rereading the Harry Potter books, and then I had my best friend Noah over. We hung out some and then started to make this awesome video, which we didn't get a chance to finish. Now I'm just chilling, because, since we had our last two finals yesterday, there wasn't any homework! Speaking of which, I ended with an 86 in biology. I'm really proud of myself.
But I guess I have to say what happened over break. Of course I visited my lovely family in Atlanta, and that was SO great. I love seeing them. After I got back from Atlanta, that night actually, I went to a New Year's party at my friend Kara's house! It was fun. It was a formal dinner party, although the only formal part was our dress, and the food (I said the blessing! I know y'all are proud of me for that) because it was a sleepover too, so we were just acting crazy as usual. It was a TON of fun, and we had all these poppers and stuff for midnight, and sparkling grape juice with plastic champane glasses. It was great. After that, I kind of just relaxed at home (mostly reading the Twilight books). I went to our new church, and I'm really excited for it. Then we had school yesterday, which you heard about above.
All in all, I'm in a great mood. I have a good feeling about this year. :)

Christmas break!
Finally! I've been waiting for break for SO long.
So, last wednesday on my snow day, I actually hung out with my friend Helana for most of the day. We made friendship bracelets for each other, since she moved last friday, and we made a video. I really miss her. :(
But I've still been having fun. On friday I went to that secret santa/birthday party, and it was SO much fun! I was too tired to do anything on saturday, but yesterday I went caroling at the nursing home that curtain's up theater company (Oliver! and South Pacific) rehearses at with some people involved with curtain's up, and then I hung out with my friends Bubba and Evie, who were there caroling. Today I think I'm going to hang out with my friend Abby, and we might go to the mall. But I don't know.
Oh yes! I got my hair cut on friday. They took off about 2 inches I think, and they finally got my bangs short enough so they're out of my eyes completely but they don't look weird. Thank goodness! I'm pretty happy with it.
Basically, I'm just really relieved for vacation. :)

Another snowday? Can it be?!
Yes, it can! We have another day off and I am as happy as a clam because 1. I don't have to spend all day studying! I'm ready for the finals I have to take tomorrow, and 2. Today was supposed to be spanish and english finals, and tomorrow was supposed to be biology and choir. However today's finals will be pushed to tomorrow, which means I have WEEKS to study for my biology final!!! =D
I'm a little upset because I spent so much time freaking out about my bio final, that I didn't study enough for geometry. I didn't do so hot on that final. But, I'll try harder next time because I know I could have done better if I had spent more time on the review packet. Hopefully I'll at least act the biology final.
So that's what's going on today! My mom and I are going to go out so I can get my friend a birthday present and my other friend a secret santa present, because this friday I'm going to a birthday/secret santa party/sleepover. It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm also going to get my secret santa cousin her present... :)
