Well, I've made it to the second week of school. Everything is going fine, except for the tons of homework being dumped on me. Oh well, I'm keeping up. There is a good thing about this week though-- on Friday we're going to the Zoo all day! And in two weeks we're going to the Lincoln Museum all day. We're going to go to a field trip to Culver's at the end of the year to celebrate school being out, and at the beginning of May I get to go to a choir competition in Six Flags. We have to get up and go to school at 5:45, but it's worth it, since we'll be at Six Flags riding the rides while everyone else is in class. Hmmm, what else to say. Well, Show Choir is going great. We weren't very focused at rehersal today, but we still got our dance down. And I know what my solo is! It's in Wicked, so if any of you have seen Wicked or heard the soundtrack, you'll know what it is. It's the first verse to a song called 'The Wizard and I'. It's about Elphaba (Wicked Witch of the West (in Wicked she isn't really evil) talking about how excited she is that one day she may get to meet the Wizard. I'll probably post the lyrics to it later. Anyway, I've loved that particular song ever since I got the soundtrack for Christmas, so I'm really happy to have gotten that solo.
I think that's all there is to talk about now. Like I said, everything is fine. I'll post later!
P.S. Oh, I forgot. We're also going to be singing the song 'Ease on Down the Road' from the Wiz; I'm pretty sure I didn't mention that earlier. Bye now!
