It's almost Christmas!!

The holidays are really near (I've already watched 'The Santa Clause' three times) and I'll be coming down to Georgia in just a few days! I'm so excited!
My Christmas concert at school went really well. Show Choir had some stressful costume changes, but we managed to make them on time and perform really well. I've gotten a LOT of compliments on my solo in the girls ensemble. It's really great that the whole school has to come to the concert, because now everyone knows I can sing. :D
The day before the concert my parents had a Christmas party and I got to invite my friend Abby over. It was so much fun!
Yesterday I went to see the second 'National Treasure' movie with my friends Danielle and Lillian. It was so good! I love those movies. I highly reccomend it.
On Friday I went to a secret santa party at my friend Kara's house. It was really fun. My friend Cori really like the gift I got her. One of my best friends, Mallory, had me and I loved her gift. She got me a really cute bag and then a postcard and legwarmers (inside jokes).
A couple weeks ago our school choir took our field trip to see 'Wicked'. It was SO amazing; I loved it! I personally think we had really good performers (not as good as the original cast, but you know) and the show went really well. We also had good seats, because usually if you go with your school you have to sit up high in the balcony but we had floor seats. We also got to eat at the Spaghetti Factory which was delicious. The bus ride was fun too because we were all just really hyper and it was so much fun.
On Wednesday (sorry this post is so out of order) all of the 8th graders in my school met with the counselours from the high school to talk about course selection. I'm really excited about going to high school and picking my classes and stuff, so it was really awesome when they came. But I think I'm going to have to take an early bird class and I know I'm taking summer school to be able to fit all of my classes in that I want to take, which sucks. The good news is that I was reccomended for Honors Bilogy and Honors English.
So, that's about it. Merry Christmas!

Just remember when you are a famous singer that you have a cousin named Kerry who enjoys shiny, sparkly things. For instance, I always wanted an Ice Skater costume because they are so glitzy but then I would actually have to risk my life hopping around on cold, hard ice....so that dream went out the window. I also saw the national treasure movie (Kristin was so excited we went to see it the day it came out) and I can definitely say that I will never look at Mt. Rushmore the same way again;-) Soon , I too will be descending on Atlanta so beware.....
